Appearance: Belinda is a lovely, slender feminine woman. She's blessed with height, long legs and a to die for willowy figure. Her skin is a flawless and creamy white, except in summer months when she tans easily and her skin takes on a golden hue. Belinda's eyes are doe eyes, a soft hazel in colour. Her smile is alternately sweet and sexy, but generally sweet. She's got quite an approachable look about her, something homely that says its okay to talk to me, I'll make you feel better.
Dress Style: Belinda's dress sense is comfortable, she preffers jeans and tee shirts, or skirts and pretty tops. She's quite feminine when it comes to her looks and loves to enhance that when she can. She likes to accessorize and has a large collection of jewellery and hair stuff, she can always find something to match pretty much any outfit. She's not really one for makeup, but does occasionally wear mascara and lipstick.
Marks/Scars/Tattoos: Ears pierced once. Slash mark on stomach.
Carried Possessions: Purse, cell phone, beeper.

Personality: Belinda is generally speaking a nice, helpful person. She's the one you go to when you don't know what else to do. She's very calming and usually can always find something to say to make you feel better. Belinda is practical and level headed, and likes to be the peace maker/mediator in arguments. She's fair and will listen to both sides before giving advice. Having grown up as the eldest of six younger siblings Belinda has a lot of experience taking care of kids, getting people ready in the mornings. Almost like a surrogate mother type. She's firm when she has to be, when she puts her foot down, its down, and there's no changing her mind. Belinda doesn't like getting angry much, and will only do so when she has to.
Hobbies: Cooking, sewing, quilting.
Talents: Belinda is an alpha leopard and has complete control over her beast. She has mastered the art of partially shifting, being able to produce claws instead of hands. She can use her power to heal submissives, calm and control their beasts. Belinda is also very good at organising a house, taking care of people. She's responsible and thoughtful, good with a budget. Belinda is also a trained and competent doctor. Her speciality is surgery.
Weaknesses: Belinda's niceness seems to make people under estimate and underrate her. She comes off as too motherly sometimes, and can be bossy, even though she doesn't seem to realise she's doing anything wrong. She takes on too much as well, she has it in her mind that she's the one responsible for making sure things go smoothly within the Pard, everyone is happy and rarely gives time to herself. If she does have a moment on her own, she gets so consumed with what she's doing she tunes out and can be uncharacteristically snappy when called on, but then her sense of duty takes over and she pushes any feelings of irritation or annoyance to the back of her mind rather than dealing with it.

History:
Belinda grew up the oldest child of a large family in San Francisco. Her parents weren't particularly well off, both worked two jobs and money was often tight and stretched. Belinda herself as the oldest often from a fairly young age found herself with responsibilities - taking care of her younger siblings while her parents were out working. Belinda didn't really mind, she figured she was learning skills that would be useful to her in later life when she had a family of her own. She was a smart girl as well, and as she grew up, knew she wanted to be a doctor. She wanted to continue helping people. She was often scoffed at for being too idealistic.

She had the grades to qualify for college, even med school if she continued to work hard on her studies, but her parents just didn't have the money to send her to college, Belinda could technically qualify for a scholarship but her parents just said no, she was better off staying and doing what she was good at - caring for people in a house hold environment. Belinda was offered a position of nanny to the children of a wealthy family. She took it, figuring her family would appreciate the extra income brought in. She was eighteen by now, and graduation wasn't far off. Belinda took the position, and moved in with the other family when she had graduated, making the position permanent for her.

The family she worked for had three children - two younger kids one seven, and one five, and an older daughter thirteen. The older daughter was a wild child, rebellious, rude, and stretched Belinda's seemingly endless patience to the limit. She found herself constantly covering for the daughter's bad behaviour - sneaking out late, smoking, drinking. On more than one occasion she had to confiscate drugs. At the same time, she couldn't help feeling a little jealous, since she herself had never really had time for a social life, had never dated, didn't have time for anything that she could call just hers. In the evenings when the kids were in bed, the house hold duties taken care of, Belinda took up quilting and sewing, and it was the only thing she had to look forward to that was just hers.

When the teenage daughter brought a boyfriend home one weekend when the parents were away, Belinda tried to make him leave. He and the daughter were drunk and not listening. Belinda tried resulting to literally grabbing his shirt collar and throwing him out. He got mad and threw her off, cutting her in the process.

Belinda let it slide, and as usual - just cleaned up the mess. A month later when the full moon came - she shifted. She had been totally unprepared and at first didn't quite know how to handle it. She told herself it was nothing important and just something she had to deal with. Bad news for her - the teenage daughter had witnessed the first shift and quite happily went to blab to her parents. Who were mortified. They were pro human lifers, Humans First activities, and absolutely refused to have a newly turned lycanthrope in the house. Belinda was mortified and didn't know what to do. Her first logical thoughts were to go home. To her parents.

But by the time Belinda made it there, she was upset to find that they had been told what had happened and wouldn't let her back in the door. Belinda was at a total loss. She didn't have the social skills or anything to have prepared her for this situation. She took a duffle bag of clothes and a few personal possessions and started walking aimlessly. She stopped at a cheap motel, and was sat in a diner a few days later when she was approached by a guy and girl, both introduced themselves as lycans - like herself. Belinda was dismissive at first, lycanthropy had ruined everything for her.

They were insistent - they could help her get back on her feet. And if there was one thing Belinda prided herself on, it was being resilient, and dealing with things. This, as she had thought originally, was just another stepping stone. So she went with the other lycans, who were leopard shifters like herself. She became part of a very small Pard who taught her how to control the beast. Once Belinda had calmed down, she gained control very quickly. Over the next few months she was delighted to find herself having risen to alpha status. The Pard helped her get into college too, put her back on the path to her dream of helping people and being a doctor. The dream was a hard one, and took many years to complete. She went to med school in New York City, and remained there, joining the New York, a much larger group than her little one in San Francisco. After spending a several years working at a local hospital specialising in Lycanthrope treatment, Belinda was offered a position working for the Coalition in Chicago. Thinking the Coalition was a great idea for lycanthropes Belinda left the New York Pard, for Chicago Pard. Having known the Pard Nimir Raj, Abbott Erikson from her time with the New York Pride, Belinda was, on arrival, offered the position of Walafar after the death of the previous, which she was happy to take.
