Personality: Jack has a superiority complex. He likes to think that he has power with his security guard position. It’s everything to him. Yet at the same time, he’s happy to bend the rules as well to make himself seem more important. If you’re in his good books, then he can be your best friend - he’ll let you slip by with things you shouldn’t have. For a price, of course. If you get on his nerves, or undermine him, Jack can get very snippy and petulant. He’ll pull you over for the smallest thing, and generally be bitchy and nasty and if he can rub something in your face, he will. He’s not above planting evidence either.

Appearance: Jack is good eye candy to look at. He’s tall and lean, with strong upper arms and a flat torso. His eyes are the colour of chocolate, quite small and almost beady, and can be very intense when looking right at you. He has an interesting face, a look that says quirky intelligence, with a very attractive disarming smile. He has thick dark hair, usually cut short, sometimes Jack lets it grow carelessly. He is always clean and carefully shaved.

Strengths: Jack is a werewolf, and prides his enhanced sense of smell over anything. He can pick out distinct scents in a crowded place, a classic example would be he could easily tell if you were drinking Coke or Pepsi without an obvious can lying around. Jack is also pretty strong, and has spent a long time working out at the gym. He has learned several forms of martial arts and has a black belt in karate and is pretty efficient in ju-jitsu. He likes to think he’s good at intimidating tactics as well.

Weaknesses: Jack isn’t as important as he likes to pretend he is. He also knows that most Night People look down on werewolves, see them as a lesser species and this makes him mad. He deals with this by being a bully to those weaker students, most of whom he knows have done no wrong. He’s quite happy to partake in illegal activity too, if there’s something in it for him.

History: Jack grew up in an ordinary family from Winthrop, he was never particularly bright or popular at school and it remained a bitter fact for years afterwards. His older sister Marina made it into the Ashwood academy, and graduated, went on to college. Jack didn’t get in, his grades weren’t good enough. Much later on in his parents marriage they had a third child, a daughter, by accident really, but no one ever told her. To make things worse for Jack, Terri was a little genius and made it into the academy easily. Jack only made it in recently - but as a security guard. He didn’t quite qualify for the cops. He had previously tried to join the Marines, and the FBI, only to be rejected on failing the psyche tests. Security guard was the only job on the Force that he could get.
