Personality:Lois is spunky and sassy. She's a loud mouth who hates to be kept quiet. Despite that she feels she knows and understands authority, and how to sweet talk her way around it. And at the same time pull her tongue and flip the finger behind the important person's back. She has a live for now attitude and likes trying anything dangerous. She can come off a little on the mean side, with a need to impress that lead to doing bad things which she thinks are on the funny side, but others perhaps not. Like hexing humans to do stupid things, call the teacher "Mommy", trip over their feet and spill their lunches, cause bad acne or embarrassing rashes, that sort of thing. Lois doesn't like social boundaries and flips from one group to the next. One minute she'll be flirting with the football players, the next she could be hanging with the stoners.

Appearance:Lois is quite tall, and stands without heels at 5'8. Her skin has a natural milky overtone to it, almost boarding on pallid, as if Lois has spend too long in doors. Lois's blonde hair is touched with a pale gold shade, between corn silk and honey depending on the way the light catches it. She styles in in many different ways, depending on her mood. Currently it hangs in curls to just below her shoulder blades. Lois has her ears pierced three times in each ear and a largetattoo of a leaping snarling leopard across her back, along with another tattoo of a trailing rose vine over her left thigh, which can just be seen depending on how short she has her skirt. Lois has full features, a large nose and firm lips.

Strengths:Having only recently discovered her witch powers Lois is still new at learning magic. She’s catching on pretty well, though does find some more difficult spells taxing. She’s developing an extensive knowledge of herbs as well as taking the Latin class to improve some of her vocabulary for more powerful spell casting. Lois is also trained in hand to hand combat, she packs a good strong punch and can break a nose with a well placed heel of her hand. She’s an excellent shot and good at hitting a target.

Weaknesses:Raised to believe the Night World should be hunted and then finding out she’s really part of it Lois is feeling lost and not sure where she belongs or what to do with herself. She struck out with her newly embraced witch side and lost the plot a little and her attitude and loud mouth are part of not really knowing how to deal, even though she would never admit it to anyone. Sid feels she has to put on a “face” to show the world she’s not who she used to be, a trained, ruthless hunter. As a result she can act quite childish, and flippant, and she has a terribly short attention span, putting a serious downward slant in her schoolwork.

History: Lois didn’t know who her father was until she was fifteen. She was raised by her mother, and a small group of people who she was told was her family. The group were only small, there was her mother, a married couple and their son, and another woman, they called themselves Hunters. As soon as Lois was old enough to understand, when she was ready to start school at five, her mother told her of the evil Night World society and how wrong it was and how these monsters should not exist. A select number of people - like themselves - believed that the world belonged to human beings and it was their job to wipe out the monsters. While there were larger groups of Hunters and Hunter Families, Lois was told her own little one was all that mattered. Mother believed the few of them there were, the less mistakes were likely to happen. So Lois was trained to be a hunter, along with the other boy, Jonas, a few years older than her. Jonas was her only close friend, they confided in each other, trusted each other absolutely. Until Lois was twelve and met another boy, Russet. Russet was in fact a vampire, and Lois had been sent to befriend him and worm her way into his life and his family. Russet was a very rich vampire with a private estate Mother and the Hunters planned on raiding. They needed to bypass security. Lois was supposed to learn the security. However, Lois found herself liking Russet’s attention. It felt good to have a handsome rich boy be interested in you, even if it was against every core of her belief system. And that felt good too. Naughty. But much to Lois's chagrin, Jonas caught wind of this, and stormed in when she and Russet were making out, attacking him. Lois was knocked to the floor, desperately trying to get in between the two fighting boys, trying to thing furiously of something that would stop them. The mirror on the wall shattered, and the angrier she got the hotter her palms became and an electric orange magical glow spurted from her hands, hitting Jonas, sending him crashing backwards into a mirror, shattering the mirror.
Not sure what had happened, Lois panicked and ran. Lois was picked up by the police a few miles away. She tried to call Mother for help. But Mother refused to come. Lois didn't understand. Lois didn't know what to do, and her stressed mind worked out she had used witch fire. Which could only mean one thing. And suddenly she understood why Mother had abandoned her and refused to come and help. Lois was one of the monsters she had been taaught to hunt. She had been wrong to have feelings for Russet, she knew that, but she had never planned on making a mistake like the one she had made. And now....everything had gone wrong. While she wanted to blame it on Russet, Lois knew it was her fault.
A few days later, a well dressed man came to collect her, introducing himself as her father. Lois went with him reluctantly. And learned the truth about what she suspected. She was really a Night World witch. Her father lived in a nice big house in a town called Winthrop in the state of Maine in the US. Lois was at first mortified of the discovery. Her world had shattered. For many months Lois was glum, and didn't hardly speak. Only when forced to the Night World trained Psychiatrist her father hired. She could try to kill him, she thought, he was a Night Person, a monster! But if what he said was true, and from everything he showed her, it was, then she was too. She learned when Jonas had attacked Russet she'd defended Russet by striking out with untrained power. Her father and the shrink kept on at her to train, be what she was meant to be. Mother misunderstood. Mother herself was really a witch. And she hated it. Just because Mother couldn't deal, didn't mean Lois should suffer. Lois could be beautiful, powerful. The more the ideas were pushed at her, Lois finally relented. She was shown the true nature of Night People, the beautiful side of them, the Hunters were the monsters. So Lois began to train as a witch. She spent a year at home, picking up on her school work and her training. Her father arranged for her junior year to be spent at the prestigious Ashwood Academy. Lois lost the depression she had been feeling and threw herself into her new life. When she was eighteen, she chose Midnight as her Circle and continues on at Ashwood for her senior year.
