Personality: Katherine is a caring woman, and will listen and try to figure out the best way to offer advice to any student who comes to her with a problem. She likes to think of herself as very open minded and ready for anything. She offers her students compete confidence - unless she feels the student is doing harm to themselves or others. Outside of her job, Katherine is fun loving, out going and bold. She’s opinionated and doesn’t have any qualms about saying just what she thinks.

Appearance: Katherine is quite a pretty woman, with strong facial features. She has some wrinkling on her forehead and around her eyes from age and life, but little things like that don’t really bother her at all. She’s got friendly hazel eyes and a very wide, warm smile. Her hair is thick and cut short, sometimes spiked, sometimes with coloured streaks, current colour is a lovely rich plum with black highlights. Katherine’s dress sense is casual smart.

Strengths: Katherine is a witch, therefore she’s good at magic. She has the ability to create blasts of orange witch magic with the palm of her hands, but not something she uses unless her life is in danger. She’s good at mixing and creating her own spells, she has a wide knowledge of herbs and potions. Otherwise, Katherine has a degree in psychology, and is good at reading people, good at working out how best to assist them. Her best element is Water.

Weaknesses: Katherine can have a sharp tongue, and despite her determination to help, can come off as harsh. She has a superiority complex as well, and thinks that she knows better than everyone else. She thinks she earned her right to her position, and in a way, she has done, but she lets it go to her head. Katherine hates being wrong.

History: Katherine grew up in a normal witchy family, in Winthrop, was trained in magic from an early age, gaining water as her element to work with. In high school she met Peter Kirk, the two of them hit it off right away. Peter was a vampire, and from a rich family, and the two of them planned to get married right after graduation, they were both going to college together and everything was looking pretty damn good. For a few years, it was. Katherine married Peter and the two of them had two daughters together. Both were good girls, until Candy, the elder daughter, hit a bad patch in her sophomore year of high school. Candy fell in with a bad crowd, and was arrested several times on alcohol and possession. Candy disappeared shortly after her 16th birthday and has not, to this day, ever been found. Katherine doesn’t even know if she’s alive. Katherine still feels guilty and can’t understand where it goes wrong. She fills her day working at the prestigious Ashwood academy as a counsellor, in the hope that she can help the students without any of them ending up the way Candy did.
