VAMPIRE PROFILE Name: Kallista Silverthorne
Personality: Kallista has very high walls built around her, and they're hard to break though. She's not a complete ice queen, she talks to people if they talk to her. She carries an air about her of someone who's seen it all before, expects what's coming, and doesn't really like surprises. Kal is practical and level headed, she thinks before she acts. Kal puts effort and dedication into all her work, be it her school work, or her hunting job. She's methodical and can be blunt and brutal when she wants information. Kal is not above using illegal methods to get her own way. Appearance: In a word: stunning. Kallista’s look is a very very dramatic one. She has waist length red hair, with very long straight bangs that fall almost into her eyes, in a very unsual and striking shade of crimson, which works very well in contrast with her very pale, lily white skin. Her facial features are quite sharp, her cheekbones angled, her nose pointed. Kal’s lips are large and pouty. Her eyes are a deep emerald green, small and narrow, almost cat like. Dress is not the most important thing in the world to Kallista, she wears school uniform when she has to, when she’s not in class her choice of colour tends to be black, maybe with a bit of silver or purple thrown in. Strengths: Kallista is a vampire, and has standard vampire powers - enhanced strength, speed, senses etc. She has been trained also, to work her vampiric mental powers to use as a weapon as well. She has the ability of a “metal blast” and can knock a person out with a single thought. Her telepathy is quite strong as well, she can communicate over a fair distance. She’s good with reading people as well, learning about them, picking up on their traits and predicting what they are going to do next. Weaknesses: Kallista finds it hard to trust people and let them in. She has been disappointed in the past with the loss of her first love, made worse with her commitment to her family, knowing she may have to up and leave at any moment, and finds it hard to get close to people. It makes her seem cold and uncaring, and she’d rather have that image than be hurt. History: Kallista was born in England to a family in a small village with a mostly human population. She was raised to know all about the Night World, but it was difficult for Kallista to get along in school with the other humans, unable to make friends or bond with anyone. She became a loner, because of her enhanced speed and strength, she always did well in gym and sports, but that, combined with her odd looks, just made the other girls jealous. They didn’t pick on her, just avoided her completely. When Kallista was 10 she met her cousins in the nearby city. Kallista found they were Night People like her, and accepted her, for the first time she had people she could relate to. For a few years, she was happy, she kept in touch with her cousins and they visited regularly, until Kallista was 12 and her parents were killed by a group of vampire hunters. Kallista witnessed the death of her parents at the hands of a human and a witch, whilst hidden in the closet. She escaped, and fled to the states, with the help of her cousins to live with her Aunt Rose, a native of the town Winthrop, where she was sent to the Ashwood Academy. Kallista met her soulmate there and all was going well, until Aunt Rose yanked her out of the Academy for an unknown reason, and she was sent to live with Aunt Rose’s sister Petunia in Australia. Kallista was livid, especially at the loss of her soulmate. She never knew why Aunt Rose sent her away, and tried begging with Aunt Rose on a frequent basis to allow her back to Winthrop, only recently, mysteriously, Aunt Rose finally agreed and Kallista returned to the States and the Ashwood Academy (which she suspected was only because Aunt Rose was what was considered “old money” and a respected alumi of the school) |
