Personality: Renata is spoiled. She's used to getting what she wants. She's quite forward and if there's something she wants, she makes sure people know. She can be persuasive in getting people to help her achieve that goal, and makes sure those people are rewarded. Renata isn't the brightest person in the world, and has a habit of thinking a smile and a bit of bribery will do the job. She's usually only nice when she wants something out of you.

Appearance: Renata is a gorgeous willowy blonde. She's slender and curvy in all the right places, tall with slim shoulders. Her hair is the colour of corn, long and thick, parted in the centre of her head, falling down on either side of her like a lovely mane of gold. Renata's facial appearance gives her somewhat of an arrogant look, her eyes are almond shaped, blue in colour, her nose is sharp, her lips full. She has an air of class and elegance about her. Renata's nails are always perfectly manicured, her school uniform is always perfectly pressed, her shoes shining.

Strengths: Renata is somewhere on the boarders between Midnight and Twilight. She's quite a talented witch, particularly in charms and potions. She likes to challenge herself with spells, and while she likes the thrill of trying darker magics, she's not entirely sure she can push herself for the really dark stuff that would make her completely Midnight worthy. She's trying to get there, but needs a push. Renata can be quite charming and flattering, her sweet smile combined with a sensual voice can be quite persuasive.

Weaknesses: Renata can be a little too on the forward side, and has a habit of bribery to get what she wants. She can be over assertive with this, pushing fancy gifts on people she wants things from. She also likes to argue, she can't help herself and finds it very hard to accept defeat. She gets childish and pouts when things don't go her way, and if that doesn't work she bribery doesn't work Renata will try using bad magic as revenge.

History: Renata's family line is an old branch of witches who go back for centuries. One branch of the family tree has always lived in Winthrop. Her mother comes from very old money. Her grandmother had certain standards about the type of person Renata's mother Amber should marry. Basically an equally wealthy witch. Amber was set up with a man who fit that description, dutifully married him and produced two children, Renata and her younger sister Sonata. However, Amber had an affair with a vampire she fell in love with, left her husband and took Renata and her sister away from the town when they were young children to run off with the dashing vampire.

The affair only lasted three years, and the vampire left Amber for someone else. Devastated, Amber was left with no choice but to return to Winthrop and her overbearing mother. Renata and her sister were taken too.

Renata, having not had much training in magic during the time of her mothers affair, nor in school work, was sent by her grandmother to a private school where she was tutored hard in both magic and education. Renata, not being the best student in the world, was much better at magic. Which seemed to please her grandmother more. Her sister Sonata was the opposite, better at her school work and didn't really seem to care for magic.

Renata was given more private tutors, so she could get her grades up and consistent enough for her to attend the prestigious Ashwood Academy, like her mother and her grandmother before her. So far Renata has succeeded.
