Appearance:
The Wicked Witch of the West is dark and gorgeous, with curves in all the right places. Her skin is the colour of marble and looks just as smooth to touch, though there's always the wonder - is it just as cold? Her hair is thick and long and very very black, in certain lights there are hints of blue highlights. Her eyes are a crystal clear blue, her lips elegant and very very red.
Personality:
The Wicked Witch is a calculating person. SHe's always thinking of ways she can get the best deal out of things. She appears to be a sensible woman with a good eye for business. SHe can act sweet and friendly to worm her way into people's good books, make them like, trust her. While at the same time she's thinking how best to use them.
Strengths:
The Wicked witch has strong magical powers, mainly focused on the dark side of magic. She has been known to cast powerful spells that can alter the mind and senses over a long distance. She's good at potions as well.
Weaknesses:
The Wicked Witch's main weaknesses are water and ruby slippers. Water because it has some very dire effects on her. For reasons completely known unknown to her, water quite litterally makes her melt. And of course, the ledgendary ruby slippers. Gorgeous magical shoes The Wicked Witch desires to possess but never quite manages to get her hands on. This leads to a lot of impulse buying, especially of
subsitute shoes, many of which she has no real need for. She just likes to buy them.
Current History:
The Wicked Witch of the West grew up as a relatively nice girl along with her witch sister, it was only when she travelled out of Oz and went to witch University that she became wicked, having failed several relationships (with males and females) and been bitterly jaded as a result. She turned to dark magic and cruelty as a way to cheer her up.
For a birthday present, both the Witch and her sister were given a pair of magical slippers - one ruby, one diamonds. The Wicked Witch's slippers were stolen by one of her lovers, making her terribly jealous of her sister's ruby ones. She could never get her hands on them. Instead, she dealt with the desire by developing a love of shoes, magical and non magical, as long as they were beautiful. With seducing and bespelling the right people the Wicked Witch was able to open her own line of shoe stores through out Oz and the Emerald City. When her sister was involved in an accident, believed to have been a fatal one, the Wicked Witch thought she would finally get her hands on those ruby slippers. Only to be thwarted by a human girl who had been responsible for the accident. The Wicked Witch was unable to force them off the human girl's feet, and vowed to make sure she would get them. SHe was chased off in her first attempts by her cousin, the Good Witch of the North. The human was on the path for the Emerald City, where the Wicked Witch set traps to stop the girl bfore she could get to the Great Wizard of Oz. When everything failed she finally sent her pets, the Flying Monkeys to capture the girl.
Only to be caught out by the human's friends Tin Man, Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion. They thought they Liquidated her. But they were wrong. The Witch was saved by a shadowed figure who didn't give a reason, just stated that one day they would be back to collect on the debt the witch now owed. Then the figure disappeared. The Wicked witch never gave the figure thought again. Rumours of her death Circulated Oz, but the Witch kept to the shadows, taking on a new and false persona of the Witch's heir, looking after her businesses, while plotting her return and revenge.
