Description

Corinthian has several different layers to him. He does come off as a bit odd and quirky. He usually always has something small in his hand his fiddling with, a shiny coin, a paper clip. He’s very cute and that quirkiness makes him endearing in a way. He does like to chatter a lot, anything from the weather to what’s on TV, to new spells he might be thinking of. Corinthian can be very charming and flattering in the right frame of mind, putting you off his little oddities. Corinthian loves games of all sorts, particularly thinking games like Chess, Clue. He’s obsessed with crime scenes and forensics and adores a good murder mystery no matter how grisly. As far as Corinthian is concerned, the more grisly the murder, the better. More twists and turns. He likes picking apart the details and putting conclusions and evidence together. He does research very well, making sure he’s got all the facts before charging in. He considers himself a winner, all his hard work always pays off. Corinthian gets very upset when he doesn’t win, very angry and in some cases, quite violent. He has to have his revenge, leading him to elaborate schemes for said revenge that involve many details.

Magical Talent

Corinthian’s talents lie in performance enhancing magic, like steroids for witches. Anything from charms to patches to potions. He mixes and matches depending on the need of whom he’s making potions for. His particular skill lies in potions. And in some extreme cases, sacrifice. He finds sacrifice for better magic actually enjoyable, especially if it means the end user will win at whatever they are venturing in. His charming smile and way with words usually manages to get him the documentation and authorisation he needs, particularly with what he plans on doing with the sacrifice. Certain officials find him quite a useful person to have on retainer. He also has in the works a sort of magical version of the Viagra pill, purely for amusement on his part. Appearance

Corinthian is very good looking, something he takes advantage of. He’s very dreamy and looks normal and approachable. If you met him in a bar, you’d be happy to by him a drink. His hair is thick and dark brown, so dark its almost black but very smooth and shiny. There’s a look for every occasion from thoughtful to cuddly to inquisitive. His smile is smouldering and sexy, and also with a little quirk at certain points that makes you just want to smile with him and share the joke.

Susie is a Canary. A beautiful bird with feathers of sunshine yellow. She has a short pink beak and beady black eyes and is always chirping and signing. She’s cheerful and her whistles show her mood. When she’s happy and pleased with Corinthian and what he’s doing she’s perky and her singing reflects that. And when she’s not impressed, her chirping is agitated, distressed and constant. Susie doesn’t shut up until Corinthian pays her attention. Thanks to her bird vision, she does see things that Corinthian misses. She knows she’s one of the few people he does actually listen to. for her witch.

History

Corinthian’s was born to very wealthy parents, his parents were both Council members for the Earth witches, both working for the Criminal Justice service. Corinthian didn’t really see much of them and was raised by a nanny, later getting the somewhat sour feeling that he was a fashion accessory and when his younger sister Epiphany came along, that she was a mistake. This made him sad, and retreat a lot into books and solitary activities, particularly puzzles and games, which fascinated him. His favourite books were murder mysteries, crime scene stories. Corinthian found he was very good at games. He played with his sister a lot, who got annoyed cause he always won. During his school days Corinthian was considered weird, but managed to get away with it thanks to one fact - he was incredibly good looking, which got a lot of female attention. Only girls didn’t like to be beaten when he tried to challenge them at games. A few he found were almost as good as him. He learned to work this to his advantage, and became quite a charmer in his later years.

When he was in college he was in a chess tournament, and for the first time ever in his life, Corinthian lost. He was beaten, and couldn’t figure out how. Drowning his sorrows in a campus bar, he met a Blood witch. Corinthian had always promised to stay away from Blood witches. But the more he listened to the guy, the more ideas he got. His primary magic was Earth based, like his parents and sister. He worked positive charms and potions promoting good feelings and well being, and luck. Thinking about experimenting with Blood magic, Corinthian came across the idea that he would never loose at anything again. So he started mixing and matching new potions, potions that were to witches what steroids were to humans. He convinced himself that he could handle the Blood Magic, but of course, he couldn’t and became addicted quickly, leading him to drastic personality changes. While on the surface he managed to keep up his appearance of cute and just a little quirky, his began quickly disintegrating on the inside.
